R3 is an enterprise blockchain software firm working with a broad ecosystem of more than 300 members and partners across multiple industries from both the private and public sectors to develop on Corda, its open-source blockchain platform, and Corda Enterprise, a commercial distribution of Corda for enterprise usage.
Meeting high-demands and strict standards
GuildOne has recently launched Energy Block Exchange (EBX), a blockchain business network for high-speed transactions. Designed as a compatibility zone for the industry to share secure smart contracts, settle payments, and ensure rights and revenue completion.
GuildOne chose R3’s Corda as the ideal blockchain platform because it met the demands of the highly regulated financial industry. Knowing the strict standards R3 used to build its platform was a key differentiator as we chose a platform on which to build our blockchain solutions.
Building On Corda
GuildOne chose to represent seven business nodes on the distributed ledger and used AWS to stand up several distributed ledger technology environments using R3’s Corda.
Open source in 2016, R3’s blockchain platform, Corda, removes costly friction in business transactions by enabling institutions to transact directly using smart contracts, while ensuring the highest levels of privacy and security. From its inception, Corda was built specifically for business.
This versatile platform fits well with the needs of the Oil and Gas industry.
